I'd like to also point out an accomplishment and goal met by one of the players.  Congratulations to Rich Nace, Jr. for winning 108 games.  Rich's personal goal was to win over 100 games and he met it this session.  Last session, Rich fell short by one game, when his son beat him to keep him from it.  Which made it quite interesting in the household!!

Great Job All !!!!

They are our Most Valuable Players, please congratulate them when you see them.

MVP Questions
I was asked some questions about MVP's and qualification for MVP's.

I use the MVP H Factor which is how the MVP list is sorted.

In order to get the MVP, the player must play once in the last three weeks.

If a player was in contention for an MVP then moves up, they can still win the MVP for their old handicap that they shot a majority of the session as. However, if you play 3 or more matches at the new handicap you now have to qualify for an MVP at your current handicap.

So if you are a 3, move up to a 4, you can still qualify for the 2/3 MVP if you only play at the 4 handicap 2 times. However, if you play at the 4 handicap 4 times you would now have to try and win the 4/5 MVP.

Players that move up in the last couple of weeks of a session that this has happened to need to make me aware. The player or captain must bring this up to me, I will not be able to keep track of it. If you do not bring it to my attention, and the MVP is announced and awarded to someone else, I cannot change it.

I hope this addresses the concerns and questions about the MVP. Let me know if there is anything else that needs addressed.
