Donald S. Paulvir
HALIFAX - Donald S. Paulvir, 52, of Pleasant View Road Extended, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Abington, PA, August 2, 1956, the son of Charles L., and Janice M. (Ernst) Paulvir of Halifax.
He was a partner of Million Dollar Road Fencing, Halifax. He was a member of the Millersburg VFW Post #5507 and Halifax VFW #5750; Long standing member of the Upper Dauphin Pool League with the Wooden Nickel Team; The Twin Valley Pool League with the Nook Team; The Keystone TAP with the 8-Ball Nook Team and 9-Ball Wooden Nickel Team. He had a love of fishing, hunting, golf and Texas Hold-em.
He is Survived by, including his parents, grandparents, Donald and Jean Leabhart, Mechanicsburg; his wife, Peggy (Margaret) E. (Hoffman) Paulvir, at home; 2 sisters, Dara Nye, Halifax and Debbie Miller, Fairplay, CO; 2 step-sons, Craig Telesha, Mechanicsburg and Thomas Telesha, Kirkland AFB, NM; 5 grandchildren; and 5 nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., Elizabethville on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Michael Petresky officiating. Inurnment is private. Friends will be received Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fisherville Fire Company, at P.O. Box 625, Halifax, PA 17032.
