I would like congratulate the players on the Bounty Hunters team at Valley Forge. Thank you to Sheryl Walker, Paige Sterner, Kevin Hoy, Barry Jacoby, Bill Naugle, Shane Newman, and John Barnshaw for allowing me to captain a team with all of you on it that made one heck of a run in the Dream Team event. It was probably as close as a team can get to winning a board and just finish as the runner up. I hope each of you will consider making another run at it with me next year. The $2000.00 prize money is nice but the accomplishment is what will stick with you. You all exemplified what a team is all about. Thank You, Rick Wise
Our singles and teams did very well at Rally in the Valley.
Total prize money brought back to the Keystone TAP area was $6,425, this includes teams and singles.
There were 3 boards for the team event, which were qualified for by playing the round robin....A) Championship teams which was 8 round robin points or higher to qualify, B) Best of the Rest Teams and C) Bottom of the Barrel.
In the A) Bracket, we had the following finishes...
Bank On Us - finished 17-32
Q-Stix - finished 9-16
Snappers - finished 9-16
In the B) Bracket
Smokin 8's 9-16
16 Balls 9-16
Uncle Jim's 3-4 Place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bounty Hunters 2nd Place *******************
So everyone, please congratulate these teams/players for a job well done. That means half the teams that went down collected money, which is the best I have ever known this area to do.
In the singles boards, the following players placed and cashed in...
2/3 Handicap
Jackie Lenker 5-8
4 Handicap
John Waldman 9-16
5 Handicap
Shane Newman 9-16
Frank Plank 9-16
6 Handicap
Jason Kochenhour 5/8
Danny Smith 3/4 Place *********************
These 6 people finished into money.
The following singles qualified to the main boards, out of the round robin...
Jay Miller, Dennis Spotts, Dave Hoover, Bill Naugle, Duane Spotts, Kevin Sgrignoli, Steve Ziegler, Bill Herman.....they didn't finish into money but they should be commended for making it through the round robin into the main boards.
Overall, this Rally was a very enjoyable experience. I am very proud of all who attended and how great they competited. I have several things to work on from the league operators meeting, but keep watching the boards. I learned alot and a lot of items will be added to the website and boards....
C O N G R A T S to all.....
